With almost all the recent films of Chirajeevi are bearing some message to the society in general and youth in particular, the film 'Shankar Dada Zindabad' a remake of successful Bollywood film 'Lage Raho Munnabhai' which had a good message that Gandhism is better than Goondaism, was a perfect fit for the Mega Star. Noted choreographer Prabhudeva is directing the movie. While Chiranjevi is known for his fantastic dances and with a choreographer wielding a megaphone for the movie, everyone would expect peppy dances and suitable tunes. Reaching all such expectations Devisri Prasad gave fantastic tunes to all the lyrics and the audio would be a definite chart buster.

This is a youthful number. A typical Devisri Prasad kind of tune. Surprisingly the lyric was scripted by Devisri Prasad himself. This helped the music director to keep western humings in the interludes. Bass guitar and drum beat dominated the music, with few words in English was frequently used to give the song a youthful feel. Before the last stanza, he used shehnoy with drums for a variety. The song reminds the listeners of 'Apudo.. Ipudo.. Epudo' in Bommarillu.
Chandamama kosame…

(Singers: Chitra, Venu, Lyricist: Bhaskarbhatla)

This number is based on melody. The song begins with electric guitar's beautiful music. Chitra's soulful voice soothes the audiences while listening the song. The trumpet and guitar added a little flavour to her voice. After the first stanza the audiences find it as a duet with the joining of a male voice. The tabla bits continued all through the second stanza and was replaced at the end with a drumbeat. A song which has all the qualities of melody and mass beat.

Jagadeka Veeruniki..

(Singers: Mano, Chiranjeevi, Srikanth, Lyricist: Chandrabose)

It is well aware that the film is the sequel to 'Shankar Dada MBBS'. Hence, this number had the old tune of the old film's title song. The entire song was almost tuned in the same pattern of the 'Challatlese Pullammo.. Pesaratlese Peddammo…' song of the original (title number). While the song was rendered by Mano, there are dialogues of Chiranjeevi and Srikanth in the interludes. Those dialogues were kept as they were in the film, while recording the lyric. The song ends with Shankar Dada Zindabad.. Hu Ha.. rhythm on a fast beat. The song deals with the heroics and romance between the hero and heroine in the kissing car. The number is worth listening and the audiences would definitely enjoy the song on the screen too.

Bhoogolamantha…

(Singers: Adnan Sami, Gopika Poornima, Lyricist: Sahithi)

Beginning with keyboard's bit music and western humming, this duet has love in its backdrop. The male voice of Adnan Sami was quite husky and gives a different feel from routine. The song has literary values and the lyricist used choicest words in scripting this lyrics. However, Devisri Prasad added western humming before the last song to give the song a modern look. Yet another good song to make the audiences in general and Mega fans in particular to dance to the tune.

This is an item number and true to its style, music director Devisri Prasad tune in the same pattern, with lot of music between stanzas to give ample scope to show the item dancer to show her dancing skills. Mamata Mohan Das, who had earlier rendered songs for 'Rakhee' and 'Jagadam' films again rendered this song and her voice is very husky and best suited to the item numbers. Key board and drumbeat helped in continuing the song towards the second stanza.

O Bapu Nuvve Raavali… (Singers: Sagar, Devisri Prasad, Lyricist: Suddala Ashok Teja)

Devisri Prasad needs kudos for his excellent lyric sense for tuning the song in a true patriotic song style. He personally joined Sagar in rendering the song. Yet another name to mention is the lyricist Suddala Ashok Teja. He explained the Gandhism in his lyric in a very simple way. Especially the value of non-violence and the way how he fought the Britishers was explained in a subtle way. He perfectly explained that a mere smile can do wonders and change even a cruel person.
